40 Years of Excellence in Scouting
Boy Scout Troop 566 has served the youth of our community for over 40 years, with a strong parent-volunteer base and an emphasis on service. Our focus is on learning outdoor skills, values, citizenship, and leadership.
Our chartering organization is the Saratoga Presbyterian Church. We are geographically centered on the Blue Hills neighborhood in Saratoga, CA, and Troop 566 includes boys from Saratoga, Cupertino, Los Gatos, San Jose and Santa Clara. We are multi-cultural and multi-faith, and consider this of benefit in our program.
Where some Troops have more "contemporary" programs, Troop 566 features a traditional Boy Scout experience, with strong Patrols, monthly camping, a high-adventure (Venturing Crew 566) option, leadership and skills instruction, respect for others, and good, clean fun.
