Cooking

Camp cooking is the soul of our troop. We have a lot of great cooks and recipes being used at each campout. Our adult group gives us wondrous dishes constantly, with different foods every time. Scouts can choose to make new dishes every campout, while some scouts might decide to stick to a few favorites that they have, like chili or burgers. There are multiple Boy Scout requirements that lead to outstanding dishes at a majority of the campouts we partake in. To spice things up, there are cooking competitions that provide a bit more fun and variety in meals.

If you struggle to find new dishes for every meal, or if you get bored of something you’ve already ate enough, Mr. M has created multiple simple recipes to do yourself, as well as information for cooking equipment.
